IEM presented me with a great opportunity to live in Shanghai as well as study and work for Baidu.com – the leading search engine company in China. At first I had reservations about moving to a different country, but once there, I was amazed at how quickly I was able to adapt to a new culture, improve my Mandarin Chinese, and, most importantly, gain professional work experience.

I feel so fortunate to have had the amazing opportunity to participate in the IEM Internship program in Shanghai! The program was very well organized from the welcome orientation to the campus facilities and accommodations.

Deciding to study abroad with IEM in Sydney last summer was a great decision. I was able to immerse myself in a culture I was always interested in and to gain international work experience through an internship with Hilton. Working in a high-end hotel in a cosmopolitan location like Sydney was a “dream come true”.
